"A Plot Of Murder" by Lee Mueller in Meyersdale PA Feb 19 & 20th

Meyersdale Community Players in Meyersdale PA will present the 16th annual Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Production at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 19 and 20 at the Meyersdale fire department social hall 202 Main Street.

This year’s presentation is “A Plot of Murder” by Lee Mueller. This play centers around a Neighborhood Board meeting in Irwinville, West Virginia, and its assortment of council members and concerned citizens.
Lou Braunhorst, friendly neighbor and conspiracy theorist, has information that the quiet streets will soon be re-zoned for commercial development. (but he also believes that Black Helicopters are transmitting signals through his satellite dish that put a "liberal spin" on his T.V. programs.
But Lou's concerns do have validity. (The re-zoning, not the helicopters.) There is a 'secret' real estate scheme to institute "Eminent Domain" over the subdivision to make way for a Family Fun Pizza Parlor and a Strip Mall.
Councilman Ratcliff who knows more about the neighborhood 'take-over' than he wishes to reveal, can't stay around because he is participating as an Elvis Impersonator at Elvis-O-Rama and must leave.
Before Elvis can 'leave the building', he turns up dead in the restroom. Was it foul play or the ultimate Elvis impersonation? Special Secret Agent McManshon is quick to arrive and conduct an investigation. It seems Secret Agent McManshon knows a lot about this plot of murder, but unfortunately, it's a secret.

Premier Of New Murder Mystery "A Murder Has Been Renounced"

Affton Center Stage will premier the new comedy murder mystery "A Murder Has Been Renounced" by Lee Mueller on February 13th at 1:00pm and 7:00 pm and February 14th at 1:00pm.
"A Murder Has Been Renounced"

The play finds private Detective Nick Dashell and his wife Darla (who were last featured in the play "Irritation To A Murder") seeking assistance and shelter on a dark and stormy night. On their way to a costume party, their car breaks down and they happen upon a large creepy estate populated by some very odd ball characters. Only seeking to use the phone, they learn the phone lines are down and the roads are washed out due to the storm. It that were not enough, they also find themselves involved in some mysterious events: a stolen necklace and an alleged murder.  Should they hang out and help solve the mystery? Sure, why not? After all, they can't leave.

Perhaps stranger than the inexplicable occurrences of the evening, are the actual guests they find at the estate. Everyone is acting very oddly and using really bad British accents. And when one of the guests is found strangled in the kitchen, no one seems to be alarmed except for Nick and Darla.   Typical.
