Crossroads Community Theatre Present "Last Call At Chez Mort"

Last Call At Chez Mort

Make plans now to attend this year’s Crossroads Community Theatre Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre! “Last Call At Chez Mort “by Lee Mueller, will be performed on February 26th & 27th and March 4th & 5th.  Join them at the WOWSPACE, 114 Vinal Street in Wittenberg, WI where you will take a step back in time, dining at a swanky French Nightclub, the Chez Mort, in 1940’s New York.

Start your evening out at 5:30 with a drink and mingling with other nightclub patrons.  Dinner will begin at 6:00.

Don’t be surprised to become part of a flashback, as Chief Inspector Constantine (Dale Hartleben) brings ace news reporter Smitty (Mike Gilbertson) up to speed with information about the “murder “ you have all witnessed this evening.  Please be patient with the Inspector, as he is a veteran of hundreds of cases and sometimes confuses things.

During the flashback settle back and be entertained as your host and nightclub manager Joan Paulette Truffaut (Melissa Anderson) brings to the stage the glamorous lounge singer Lady Lelu (Kimberly Timm) who croons songs of the era for you.  That is if the stage manager Mack (Lucas Lyons) can get the microphone to work correctly.  Don’t be surprised if you are treated to another singer, up and coming diva wannabe Sweet Sue (Nancy Pehlke), who will be performing as a special “request” of her boyfriend, Big Suit Stu (Robby Johnson), whose bodyguard (Lois Anderson) is on hand to make sure Stu gets what Stu wants.

Above all try to keep everything straight, because Inspector Constantine will undoubtedly ask for your help to figure out whodunit.

Tickets for the dinner show are $35 and must be purchased in advance from cast members or at the office of The Wittenberg Enterprise-Birnamwood News, 600 S. Webb St. Wittenberg.  Or you may call us at 715-253-3525.
