Golden Valley High School’s Theatre Troupe plans “Last Call at Chez Mort"

"Last Call At Chez Mort" - the murder mystery comedy set in a 1940's Jazz Night Club will be presented by the Golden Valley High School Theatre Troupe under the direction of  Amber Kirby.  

Location: 2121 E. Childs Ave.

 A preview show is 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, in the school’s theater. Cost is $3. The dinner show is 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in the school’s multipurpose room. Tickets are $5 to $15.

"An Audition For A Murder" by Lee Mueller will be presented by Seeger Drama Club November 6th 7th and 8th at 7:00 PM  at the Seeger Fine Arts Center in West Lebanon Indiana.

The Plot: A Theatre group is holding auditions for a Murder Mystery called "Death of A Disco Dancer". All of the typical actors show up to audition. There is Mia Monahan - the militant method actress, Amber Frost- the ditzy Drama queen, Chad - the energetic actor who never seems to get a part in anything, Alan- the accomplished Theatre Major who works at a fast food place in the mean time. Troy May - the ego-centric actor who always gets a role and his gorgeous assistant Tantanya who holds his imported bottled water and carries his Portfolio. And last but not least, Mrs. Needleman and her precious daughter Julie , fresh from the Little Miss Pumpkin Pageant finals.

The auditions get underway without too many problems, well a few.. Well, all right, you see, the thing is.. the Director Vivian Vinderlou and assistant director Reed Moore have a bit of the problem with "script". The problem is they don't have enough copies for everyone. And the bigger problem is they don't actually have a finished script. 

Jim Culter- the playwright arrives in the nick of time with a few more copies and a few more finished pages just as one of the actors mysteriously dies. As luck would have it, Jim has brought Inspector Bonnie Brauvera along to the auditions to serve as Technical advisor for the play. Perhaps the investigation into this "mysterious death" will inspire the playwright and help him finish the play. After all, there is a read-through on Monday.

"Remains To Be Seen" Murder Mystery Play Fundraiser for SOTX

In a partnership with Port Arthur Little Theatre,  the murder mystery comedy play "Remains To Be Seen" by lee Mueller will be presented as a fundraiser for SOTX (Special Olympics Texas).

The performance will take place November 7th 2015 from 6pm to 9pm at Edison Plaza, 350 Pine Street in Beaumont Texas. 

The Plot: A dead body is found in a steamer trunk on the back of a U-Move-It rental truck. Officers Goodman and Badman discover that it’s not as easy as tracking down the last person who rented the truck. It seems the “trunk” has been in the truck for awhile. It has been rented many times and traveled to many cities by many mysterious characters, such as Iggy “the bookie” bartender, Madame DuBois - the eccentric washed-up film star and Nick Niagra and Edie Buffet - the talentless lounge act. Who left the trunk on the truck? Federal Agents Muledeer and Sullen are hot on the trail. Could it be a haphazard homicide by one of the shady characters? Or could it be an “alien” abduction and murder with a major government cover-up as Agent Muledeer suspects? 

Cost: $60 per individual or $550 per table of 10 (includes dinner)

“Last Call at Chez Mort" at Community Theatre Of Linden California

“Last Call at Chez Mort," a one-night only interactive who-done-it to benefit Community Theatre of Linden. The show is 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 24.

The comedy by Lee Mueller is set in the 1940s and includes gangsters, bodyguards and audience participation. Francois Rambau is the show’s pianist and Judy Caruso Williamson directs.

Proceeds benefit the company’s youth program.

"Murder Me Always" raises funds in Greenville

"Murder Me Always" is a hilarious murder mystery dinner theater performance that will amuse audiences of all ages. 
The Greenville Area Community Center's Annual Murder Mystery Dinner Theater is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. As a non-profit organization, this event provides much needed funds to offset costs of our youth enrichment programs.

 During dinner, we will be conducting a dessert auction and there will be a cash bar available with beer and wine. Dates are October 30 and 31st.  Dinner at 6:30 Show at 7:30
