Springfield Theatre Centre channels 'Zany' with "Death of a Door Nail,

Elaine Spencer in the State Journal-Register of Springfield, Illinois wrote a very nice piece about and STC's upcoming production of my play "Death Of A Doornail"  (for any murder mystery novel fans out there - they may get the reference or nod to crime writer M.C. Beaton and her Hamish Macbeth series which all have a title "Death of a.... " in the title. Such as "Death of a Gossip", "Death of a Cad" etc.. and NOT as some people have inquired - an Arthur Miller - Willy Loman reference. )

Anyway to quote:
"It's no mystery why Springfield Theatre Centre booked "Death of a Door Nail," an interactive murder mystery dinner theater production, for its annual fundraiser show that opens Friday.
STC seems to have found a winning formula like that of the authors and filmmakers parodied in the show -- colorful characters, plenty of clues and complications, and (maybe) a corpse, with the audience trying to guess who, if anyone, done it.
Written by Lee Mueller, "Death of a Door Nail" opens with the close friends and relatives of eccentric millionaire Albert Doornaile gathering at his lavish estate. The guests do not know why they have been invited, and when they arrive, their host is nowhere to be found. When bloodstains are discovered in the bathroom, suspicions of foul play arise and the sleuthing begins."
